Portable Markdown files
Ordinary Markdown remains the user-owned format for writing and documentation.
06 / APPFORGE PRODUCT
Write. Organize. Code. Document.
Product media / approved identity
Glyph is still in its foundation phase, so this case study uses the approved product identity instead of pretending unfinished editor screens are production UI.

The workspace is designed around portable files and rebuildable organization layers rather than making the application the permanent owner of the writing.
01 / WHY
Glyph starts from a simple ownership rule: ordinary Markdown files remain portable outside the product. The workspace can organize, search, render, and enhance those files while keeping the writing useful offline and under the user’s control.
02 / PRODUCT
Ordinary Markdown remains the user-owned format for writing and documentation.
Workspaces can organize files with folders, tags, templates, favorites, and fast local discovery.
The editing experience is being designed specifically for phones and tablets rather than shrinking a desktop tool.
AI can assist with writing, code, and documentation later without becoming a dependency for core editing.
03 / SYSTEM
Glyph is designed so the product can become more capable without making the user’s documents dependent on a proprietary container or online service.
The editor engine, local workspace proof, and real-device validation remain intentionally open work rather than being presented as finished architecture.
04 / STATUS
Phase 1.0 product definition and technical foundation. Glyph is not a production release yet.
